Compete For The Fun Of It!

The South Suburban Men’s Golf Club is a great way to play competitive golf in a casual and fun environment. Members compete in 14 tournaments throughout the season, each one a different format. Play some or all events and enjoy refreshments and camaraderie after your rounds in the clubhouse. Golfers of all abilities and ages are invited to join the Men’s Club (minimum age of 18).

The South Suburban Men's Golf Club (SSMGC) was created more than 25 years ago to promote a tournament program and a social opportunity for its members and with other golf clubs, and to provide United States Golf Association (USGA) handicaps. SSMGC is based at the South Suburban Golf Course in Centennial, CO and is run by a volunteer board of directors.

There are 12-14 tournaments each season, from March to October. Formats will vary with each tournament, highlighted by the Member/Guest Charity event in June, the Member/Member Team Calcutta in July, and the Club Championship in August. Additionally there are season-long singles and team/doubles match play, the District Cup (a competition against the other two district golf clubs), and an Interclub competition against other metro clubs sponsored by the Colorado Golf Association.

Members must be at least 18 years old and have amateur status. Membership is on a first come, first serve basis, with returning members having priority. The roster is capped at 250. As of January 2026, the annual fee is $300 (less for returning members before the deadline) which pays for tournament prize money and running the club. A GHIN handicap is included in the membership fee (valued at $59.95). Members also pay green and cart fees for each tournament they decide to play, and can choose to join a skins pool for each tournament.
